Battle for Texas: The Experience

BATTLE FOR TEXAS: THE EXPERIENCE is a fully immersive museum adventure staged in an authentic recreation of the Alamo as it stood in 1836. The attraction showcases the world’s most historically significant Alamo artifacts ever to be displayed under one roof and connects them through heart racing multimedia re-enactments. Guests will see the battle brought to life as they journey back in time and experience the 13 fateful days that gave birth to the great state of Texas.

For the first time, artifacts including Santa Anna’s uniform, Bowie knives, and items owned by Davy Crockett will be displayed together in a thematic environment. Presented from both Texan and Mexican perspectives, visitors will experience what it was like to have been at The Alamo in a setting that captures the spectacle, heroism, and ultimate sacrifice of those who gave their lives for a cause they believed in. The attraction is appropriate for all ages and includes a host of interactive and multi-sensory elements. Guests will be able to create their own flags, roll loading cannons into position, and experience the sights, sounds, and smells of the battle. BATTLE FOR TEXAS: THE EXPERIENCE is located adjacent to Alamo Plaza in downtown San Antonio at the newly renovated Shops at Rivercenter. A perfect complement to your Alamo visit!
